On the first day of the Year of the Dog, the senior management of the Maxims Group gathered at the Maxim’s Palace in City Hall, Central, for a lively Spring Festival gathering. The WA team was invited to carry out event design, production, and co-ordination for this annual event. The theme of the Year of the Dog is, naturally, one that relates to dogs. Out of the different dog-themed programmes that we proposed, the balloon dogs stood out. In different corners of the venue, balloons of different sizes, colours and materials were deployed.
Flawless event designs and decorations can bring you into a fantasy world! In the “Midsummer Night’s Dream”, a magical forest unveiled and fairies could be found holding a party – a charity ball! The main backdrop was painted with a forest with a new moon hanging on the tree top. You could almost hear fairies whispering near you. Well-arranged sounds and lighting brought to live a foggy forest full of pleasant melodies. Photographers were on site to capture every jubilant scene.
Hong Kong has succeeded Iran as the host of the latest biennial Asian Societies of Cosmetic Scientists (ASCS) Conference.
Mr Shaun Lean, UK’s top jewel designer and winner of numerous awards, who was best known for the works he created for Alexander McQueen, came to Hong Kong for the first time to bring his brand to Hong Kong and Mainland China. He invited WA to launch a jewellery exhibition, titled “Bond To Beauty”, as a kick-off for his campaign.
In addition to large corporate event, planning private event is also WA’s forte. Private parties include weddings, birthday parties or hundredth-day celebration parties for babies. What is vastly different from corporate activities is that private parties emphasize more on the feelings they bring to the hosts and the guests, sharing the wishes of the host while making the guests feel welcome.
